Contest Rules – “A wonderful road”
1. The Organizer of the Contest
The organizer of this contest is TSEA, hereinafter referred to as the Organizer, whose headquarters are at 10 Stefan Karadja street (ground floor), Ruse city, Bulgaria, email contest[at]tsea.bg. In order to run the contest, Organizer processes personal data for the purpose of advertising, marketing, and for the completion of this contest.
2. Contest period
The contest will start on 06.01.2020 and will end on 31.03.2018 at 23:59:59 hour. Entries after 31.03.2020 will not be considered.
Entries will be judged between April 1st and April 10th, 2020.
3. The purpose of the Contest
Those who participate in the contest will capture photographs that directly represent the theme of the contest and are submitted by eligible participants according to art.4. Following the selection, judges will nominate winners that will receive the prizes indicated in Article 5 of the Contest Rules.
4. The right to participate in the Contest and responsibilities
Only individuals from Bulgaria and Romania who are 18 years of age can register for the contest. TSEA employees and their relatives cannot participate in the contest.
This contest is proceeding with an agreement by participants regarding the processing of personal data. By entering in this contest, the knowledge of the Contest Rules and the agreement of the Participants is assumed.
1st Prize – one International Driving Document – 3 Years Validity.
2nd Prize – one International Driving Document – 2 Years Validity.
3rd Prize – one International Driving Document – 1 Year Validity.
Note – To receive a prize, the winner must have a valid Driver Licence.
6. Fees or costs associated with the Contest
This contest is free to enter.
7. The manner of conducting the Contest
To enter the contest, participants must create an account on the website tsea.bg and upload the form on the contest page including a photo with the proposed theme, taken with a digital camera. Each participant will be allowed to submit only one photo.
Participants will be immediately disqualified if:
– photos’s EXIF data has been modified
– photos were taken with film-based cameras, phones, tablets, video cameras or drones
– post-processing rules were violated
– photos are posted on the site by participants who violate any of the Contest Rules or the terms of the tsea.bg website.
Upon registration, participants will be automatically subscribed to the TSEA newsletter.
Withdrawal of photographs from the contest are not allowed after the winners have been published.
The decision regarding the disqualification of some photographs or of participants in the contest belongs Organizer. By registering to participate in the contest, all participants fully accept the conditions and terms of the present Contest Rules.
8. Accepted ways of post-processing of photos
The longest edge of the submitted photo must have a minimum of 1500 pixels, but not more than 2500 pixels. The files must be JPG only and should not exceed 4Mb. All images must be saved in the sRGB color model. The name of the uploaded file must be of the type: Title-Of-Your-Photo_YourSurename-YourGivenName.jpg and may not exceed 100 characters (eg. An-amazing-view-on Rila-mountains_Penkov-Krasimir.jpg). The photos can only be edited for: exposure compensation, brightness, contrast, color saturation and crop. Horizon correction and removal of spot dust on the sensor are permitted. No items can be added or deleted in the photo and multiple photos cannot be pasted.
Any other post-processing methods other than those listed are not allowed.
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any photo from the Contest if:
– it was processed improperly
– it does not correspond to the proposed theme
– if it contains a signature or frame
The Organizer recognizes that you, the author of the image, retain full ownership of copyright.
By submitting a photograph, you agree that the photograph can be published on the tsea.bg page. By entering the content, a participant assumes that he owns all copyright of the submitted photo. If the participant is not the copyright holder, he/she will be disqualified.
In the event of winning an award, the participant must prove ownership of the photograph by presenting the original file (RAW or JPG), as recorded by the camera. If a participant violates the validation rules, he/she will be disqualified.
The organizer will be exempt from any liability for copyright fraud of the photographs submitted by the participants. The responsibility for any violation of the law belongs entirely to participants.
10. Designation of the Winner
The judging will be done by the members of the jury between April 1st and April 10th, 2020. The winners will be announced on April 10th, 2020
11. Pre-validation procedure.
The winners will be contacted by e-mail to send the original file within 3 days and, if necessary, to present other photos taken right before/after the photo submitted.
If the winner does not hold the original photo or does not respond within the indicated period, the participant ranked in the next place will be considered.
Any technical difficulty or error in the registration of contact information by the participant is not attributable to the Organizer.
12. Awarding of the Prize
After photos have been validated, winners will be contacted for details for awarding. Prizes will be awarded within 15 days of receiving the complete data from winners. If a winner cannot be awarded for independent reasons by the Organizer (data not provided, etc.), the Organizer does not assume responsibility.
If the winner refuses the prize in a written statement, the Organizer reserves the right not to award the prize. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a participant’s prize at any time if there are sufficient suspicions of a participant’s activity on the website or in the contest.
The winner of the prize cannot choose to receive the prize in cash and cannot request any changes.
13. Protection of personal data
The Organizer processes personal data provided by participants in accordance with Article 1 of the Terms and Conditions of the website tsea.bg and agrees maintains contact with participants. By entering the contest, you agree and acknowledge that the Organizer is permitted to receive your registration data and that you, the participant, agree to all conditions.
14. Conditions for entering the Contest
The following types of information are not allowed to be posted, emailed, or otherwise sent to the Organizer:
– illegal, abusive, obscene, offensive, or conspiratorial information
– false information about your identity or any other type of false or inaccurate data
– information that you do not have the right to make public or that you do not own copyright to
– unsolicited advertising information or spam
– information containing computer viruses, any codes, or links to outside data
– falsified identification elements that hide the origin of any communication transmitted through the website tsea.bg or email
You may not interfere with or interrupt the Organizer’s servers, networks, or service.
15. Disqualification of participants
The organizer may, without notification, terminate the account or access of any participant of the contest for causes that may be (without being limited to):
a) violation of the provisions of this regulation
b) your express request
c) unexpected technical problems or other issues
The organizer cannot be held responsible for interrupting your access to the contest.
16. Information provided
During the Competition, certain personal information may be visible to other users (eg the names of the winners or disqualified competitors). The responsibility for this information posted is the sole responsibility of participants, and the Organizer cannot be held responsible. The organizer cannot guarantee the identity of participants.
Participants agree not to copy the pages of tsea.bg website or its contents and to not disrupt the functioning of the Organizer’s network or servers (unsolicited communications, attempts to gain unauthorized access, transmission of computer viruses, etc.).
17 Limitation of Liability
By accepting this regulation, you agree that the Organizer is not responsible for any direct, indirect, occasional, or exceptional losses or consequences resulting from photographs and content transmitted by participants or using the website www.tsea.bg.
18. Force Majeure
Force Majeure is any event that cannot be controlled or remedied by the Organizer and thus makes it impossible for him to fulfill his obligations assumed.
Any complaint regarding the contest can be sent by email to contest[at]tsea.bg within 2 days from the date of which the claimed event occurred.
In the event of disputes arising between the Organizer and the participants of the Contest, these will be settled amicably.
